The BP Andrew platform has recently undergone a major redevelopment to support the addition of the Kinnoull and Arundel subsea fields and to develop the Lower Cretaceous gas cap. A new prefabricated separation module weighing in at 700 tonnes was installed, overhanging the platform East end from Weather Deck to Cellar Deck levels.

Through this process, EDF Energy has identified a requirement for the provision of mobile emergency response systems which will be deployed in the occurrence of such an event.
