Alexander Dixon, Principal Systems Engineer at Servelec Controls will be speaking at the OSIsoft User Conference in London on 16-19 October 2017. The joint presentation with Veolia and SBM Offshore focuses on improving upstream water asset integrity using OSIsoft Connected Services.

Attended by over 1,300 specialists from over 50 different countries, delegates will have access to a wide range of presentations from industry experts, discussions, product demonstrations and hands-on training opportunities.

Alexander will describe how Servelec Controls provides technical consultancy and implementation services to enable Veolia to provide Water Injection Asset Integrity to SBM Offshore using the OSIsoft PI System and Connected Services. The presentation will include how the PI System was selected as the tool of choice to support the new digital support offering from Veolia and how the system was developed and implemented using Connected Services.

Commenting on his speaking opportunity, Alexander said: “Servelec Controls is excited to take to the stage jointly with Veolia and SBM Offshore to present their digital healthcare solution based on the PI System, which has provided significant benefits to Veolia and their customers. With the PI System Veolia is able to monitor offshore assets in real-time replacing processes which would often rely on data up to eight weeks old.”

Servelec Controls has been an OSIsoft Partner since 2002 and has eight infrastructure specialists, making up more than half of all accredited engineers in the UK. Four of the eight specialists also have the PI Installation Specialist accreditation, which is a progression from the more general Infrastructure certificate and proves the holder’s ability to implement a PI system securely with an expert basis for design.

Servelec Controls is a market-leading independent integrator of real-time, mission critical safety and control systems and provider of solutions for remote operations, 24/7 support and maintenance.
