Servelec Controls wins new contracts in Power & Nuclear

Servelec Controls, the UK-based technology and software group, has been awarded several important contract wins across its Power & Nuclear business, which works with the UK’s biggest power and nuclear operators to provide control systems that make essential tasks more efficient, safer and simpler.

Data and Alarm Monitoring System at Sellafield

Servelec has been awarded the contract for a Data and Alarm Monitoring System by Sellafield Ltd. The Group will provide a centralised monitoring system for the area housing Sellafield’s Magnox Swarf Storage Silos. The software will enable the Sellafield operators to efficiently manage plant monitoring, trending, alarm management and diagnostic functions during the next phase of the decommissioning process.

The nine month contract, during which Servelec will also provide network security, helps cement Servelec’s strong position in the Power & Nuclear market.
