Servelec: helping to raise the skills standard in the nuclear industry

On Wednesday 27th January, members of Servelec Control’s Power & Nuclear team will attend the National Skills Academy Nuclear Employer Skills Showcase. The National Skills Academy Nuclear works with employers to improve skills in the nuclear industry by setting the highest standards of excellence and expanding the sector’s capabilities.

The Employer Skills Showcase celebrates the skills and workforce development initiatives that NSAN members, including Servelec Controls, have to offer. The conference includes speeches from representatives of member companies such as Jacobs, Atkins and Doosan Babcock, including a keynote by NuGen CEO Tom Samson.

Stuart Harrison, Nuclear Account Director at Servelec, is part of the visiting delegation and commented;

“At Servelec, delivering a quality service to our nuclear industry client is paramount. As part of the National Skills Academy Nuclear, we engage with other member organisations to celebrate the vast array of skills in the nuclear sector and steps being taken to safeguard and develop them for the future.”

The event takes place at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool on Wednesday 27th January, with a conference dinner the previous evening. Some tickets are still available and may be purchased directly from the NSAN.
