Servelec Controls is now a Certified Supplier on the Charted Institute of Procurement & Supply’s (CIPS) Sustainability index.
Exceptional scores were achieved throughout the audit, placing the company well above industry averages in all three of the Index’s categories. CIPS rated the business based on its economic, environmental and social performance, allowing Servelec to demonstrate its sustainability to existing and potential clients around the world.
The scoring also allows for a more efficient tendering process, as many topics included in the procurement process are already covered in the Sustainability Index. The CIPS benchmarking gives comparisons to business of similar sizes and from the same industry, with suppliers audited annually.
Servelec Controls QA and Safety Manager Graham Richmond commented: “It’s great news for Servelec that we achieved such high scores throughout the Index. Becoming a CIPS Certified Supplier recognises the work that goes on throughout the business to maintain its industry leading quality and sustainability.”
Servelec Controls is an Achilles FPAL & B2 Verify business, CASS IEC 61508 and TUV accredited and registered with the British Standards Institute’s ISO 9001 and 22301.
