Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems provide an excellent means of monitoring, analysing and controlling plant processes. The SCADA system employed on a site is often the most visible and high profile element of what may be a complex control system comprising multiple distributed controllers, drives, instruments and other networked components.
We recognise that this ‘window’ to operational assets must be intuitive for the user, providing them with all relevant data in a clear and concise format. Equally it must have a highly professional appearance, satisfying the investment made in the system and enhancing the plant and process that it serves.
Modern SCADA systems are powerful software packages offering an array of technology options including data connectivity, data analysis tools, external alarming methods and other user configurable features.
Servelec Controls’ engineers are experts in the design and implementation of SCADA systems and go to great lengths to fully understand your process and operational requirements, enabling them to design solutions that will deliver the information that you need as you need it.
Servelec Controls is vendor independent and utilises many leading current and legacy technologies, including:

Management Information System (MIS) Solutions
SCADA systems are an excellent fit for real-time data handling, visualisation and historical analysis.
End-users are increasingly looking for more in-depth data analysis of their process, such as emissions compliance, down-time monitoring and overall equipment effectiveness.
Data historians offer seamless integration with SCADA and networked control systems, providing high speed and high volume data storage, coupled with powerful reporting and analysis tools.
Servelec Controls has the software engineering capability to select and implement your historian solution. Not simply based on what the product can do; instead our engineers go to great lengths to understand your operational requirements and tailor a professional solution to fit based on your business needs.
We are recognised systems integrators for the following historian and MIS solutions:
SCOPE TELEMETRY AND SCADA
The SCOPE family of products for Telemetry and SCADA provide continuous monitoring and control of your asset estate. Optimum reliability is achieved through robust software design, utilising high levels of redundancy supported by low maintenance needs. SCOPE collects and adds value to asset performance data by integrating this with other sources of information, giving a complete holistic view of operations. Integration with ERP systems, such as SAP, allows PAS55 asset alignment, automatic alarm and work packet dissemination, providing facilities for telemetry and SCADA to orchestrate operations and support the calculation of the total cost of asset ownership.
SCOPE also supports the overlay of real-time data on GIS (Graphical Information System), such as SAP and Esri. The SCOPE flexible system architecture allows deployment from a simplex single site SCADA through to enterprise-wide systems. The flexibility and modular design allows SCOPE to be quickly adapted to meet new requirements, thereby allowing your investment in telemetry and SCADA to grow and support your business now and in the future.
